cozy atmosphere with stunning sea views
The room was spacious with breathtaking sea views of St Mary's Island. It had a flat-screen TV, mini fridge, along with complimentary body soap and towels provided. Breakfast was abundant, especially the pancakes, made to order. The overall setting felt warm, and the staff were always attentive and engaging.

Had an awesome time with friends. We stayed in a lovely room and enjoyed the great beach views. We explored the nearby Port of Tyne and Quayside, both worth the visit. The place was clean and cozy, and the breakfast was fantastic—don't miss the pancakes! Great value for a happy stay.
It would have been better if we had arrived there right away.

Perfect for families
We stayed for 2 nights in the superior triple room with a sea view. The view is stunning, especially mornings. Breakfast was decent, but I wished they had yogurt. The staff were super friendly and helpful! Just needed to ask for some utensils a couple of times. Overall solid experience!

Just a fine choice for a break on a long journey in Whitley Bay with great value. The view from the room was amazing, right over the sea. If you can, ask about breakfast options for something a bit more filling.

Ideal for Couples Seeking Comfort
The breakfast was absolutely top-notch, just like a well-cooked chem meal, with large portions that had me feeling like a king. the room had a mini fridge, just what I needed to keep my 'supplies' cool, made the stay much easier.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but what can you expect for such quality.

Nice spot close to the beach. Breakfast options fantastic, especially the pancakes. Room small, but clean. Parking tricky, had to use a pay-and-display nearby.

missingWrote a review on Jun 21delicious fish and chipsflexible breakfastwelcoming vibedated décorpricey room
The fish and chips at Trenchers were a proper delight—crispy, golden, and served with a side of mushy peas that's nothing short of a Whitley Bay classic! We also adored the cozy, welcoming vibe of the guesthouse and the flexibility with brekkie, where a late start was no hassle. Bonus points for generous portions!
If we're being cheeky, the décor could use a little sprucing up here and there, and our back room felt a tad pricey for the size. But honestly, it wouldn't stop me returning, as the charm shines through.
